Martha Weeks has been a Silicon Valley marketing consultant for more than 15 years. She began her university studies in speech and theater but quickly switched majors when she realized the world is full of wannabe stars. After working in numerous international sales and marketing jobs and consulting assignments, Weeks gravitated back to her thespian roots by focusing on communications. 
  
Prior to consulting, Weeks sold software for network management startup company NetLabs. She worked at HP offices in California, Germany and France in a variety of marketing positions, including channel program manager, product manager and sales development engineer. 

Weeks earned an MBA from the Hass School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Personal

Weeks is an avid rollerblader, yoga enthusiast and fair-weather skier. She dabbles in collage and other crafts and is an active volunteer in the community.

Weeks has a passion for learning about other cultures and languages. She has lived abroad in France and Germany and traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and Turkey. In 1990-91, she took a sabbatical year to voyage solo around the world. She speaks French and can shop and order off a menu in German, Turkish, and Spanish.
